THE CITY OF LAGOS... OUR HOME.
Soo…
Part of the BLING of The Waterside Lagos lies
not only in the rich history of the hotel building it is embedded in, unique modus operandi, penchant for fun
and positivity and all the other great stuff… There is also the ambiance
of the city it is located in.
The city of Lagos.
The second fastest growing city in Africa
and home to our prestigious Restaurant, ‘’small New York’’ as it is fondly
called by some, is an engaging city found in the South-western part of
The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Quite surprising is also the fact,
that though it is the smallest state in the country, it is also the most
populated with a huge population of about 17.5million people!!! Lagos
is home to all the tribal factions in the country… a potpourri of
cultures and people, it is your go to place for variety, fun, and
individuality on all platforms. It is a Mecca of sorts… a magnet… a
lifeline… and not just for Nigerians, but people from all over West
Africa. Anything is possible here, and all things, all things are
different shades of bright and various kinds of beautiful.
Modern city that it is, it starts on the
beaches of the islands that punctuate the Atlantic coast of Nigeria, and
the largest, Lagos Island and Victoria Island, guard the entrance to a
huge lagoon and a network of creeks… the famous Cowrie Creek in Ikoyi
included, home to The Westwood Hotel and The Waterside Lagos.
From the rich culture…
To the cuisine…
To the spirit of humour that almost all Lagosians seem to possess…
Lagos is indeed the heart of the country.
It is the place WE want to be.
Come on over!!!
The city awaits….
